An entrepreneur by profession, I own and run ‘Off-Centre’, a ceramic studio, founded in 2017. I am the Chief Designer of the company, which creates utility products, collectibles and lifestyle accessories that blend tradition with the modern.

I hold a Master of Design (M.Des.) in Ceramic and Glass Design from the prestigious National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad. I specialize in social design, design entrepreneurship as well as marketing.

A socially conscious designer, my design philosophy focuses on increasing awareness about socially relevant issues and applying unique design-solutions to solve complex issues. My research presentation - ‘Kahani Her Mahine Ki’ or The story of every month - a learning tool on menstruation for the Visually Impaired. Co-authored with Lakshmi Murthy, the research was presented at the Society for Menstrual Cycle Research (SMCR) 21st Biennial conference, Boston, USA (2015).

Sadhvi Thukral

I lead the South Asian practice for Canadian consulting firm Ideal Advisory Services (IaS) - and am an experienced campaigner in the field of Management Consulting.

In addition to my contribution in the South Asian region region I am also the Global Leader for Technology Consulting wherein our teams advise clients on Digital Transformation, Best in Class IT processes & how to effectively manage their IT assets.

Previously my stints in the corporate sector have been with PwC & EY - and I am an alma mater of the prestigious Judge Business School, University of Cambridge.

Apart from my work in the corporate sector, I have also kept my creative juices flowing. I am an internationally acclaimed film maker, writer and director and my films have won over 50 international awards in prestigious festivals held in Rome, New York, Los Angeles, Venezuela, Singapore, Berlin & London. My last film SIFAR was a PvR exclusive and starred veteran actors such as Sudha Chandran & Anang Desai alongside Kanikka Kapur. My next film LockDown - is in association with Shemaroo and won 20 awards in the festival circuit.

Apart from films I have made popular music videos with music labels such as TIPS with artists such as Babul Supriyo, Kailash Kher, Hriday Gattani, Anu Malik, Sonu Nigam. Rituraj Mohanty, Shamir Tandon and Bandish Vaz.

Dhruv Sachdev

A GOLD MEDALIST from University of Delhi , worked in multiple roles spanning various fields — arts, entertainment, marketing, research, communications and public relations. I have worked as a marketer, stage and film actress, singer, cultural organiser, digital marketer and copywriter. I presently handle marketing and communications in India for one of Asia’s leading solar energy developers in the C&I space.

I am also a recipient of the prestigious High Potential Scholarship at Maastricht University, the Netherlands, where I pursued a master's degree in Arts and Culture: Policy, Management and Education. I am also a trained Hindustani classical vocalist from Bhatkhande Sangit Vidyapith, Lucknow.

Divya Phadnis

Having worked in Flipkart for almost 4 years now, across multiple functions from closing the Walmart-Flipkart acquisition to handling a Toys and Baby care brand, I would call myself a die-hard Flipster & an e-commerce expert. I am currently Senior Manager at Flipkart for the Fashion Accessories portfolio and actively engage with large brands to operate in this space. Prior to this, I was managing a Flipkart private brand, and before that I was part of the corporate finance team of Flipkart group companies.

I have pursued under graduation in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University, post which I worked for a private equity fund & then moved to the investment banking division in Goldman Sachs. I completed my MBA from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad & I'm currently with Flipkart.

Every day at Flipkart is a new day with varied stakeholders and multiple conflicts, and making your space in the corporate world is definitely a road full of challenges. Having studied in Goenka for 10 years with the most brilliant set of teachers & peers, the school taught me to be resilient, to be sincere with my work & never back down no matter what. These qualities, along with the love for what I'm doing & the passion I have for it makes the journey challenging yet fun.

Aakriti Bhatia

My name is Rahul Ranveer Shah, I was part of the batch of 2020 and I'm currently studying in IIT Delhi doing my B.tech degree. G D Goenka Public School, made me realize that academics and extracurriculars/sports aren't necessarily independent facets to explore and excelling in both can be done with the right guidance and mentorship. While the Science department, especially Shah sir helped me realize my academic potential especially in my favorite subject, physics; my basketball coach, Mukesh sir helped me explore sports and the English and Social Science departments helped me understand public speaking and stage performance.

Having both my parents being a part of the Goenkan faculty and a huge part of my journey taught me humility, diligence and the power of honest, quiet work. From being selected as head boy and Mr Goenkan to being cheered by the crowd during the Gayatri Devi tournament to performing on stage on the Goenkan Grandeur stage or the Sirifort auditorium; The Goenkan culture inspired in me to keep exploring myself, to keep learning, to keep moving forward and to never look back at the negativity.

My message to all young Goenkans is to stay positive, keep believing in yourself, don't let anything stop you and remember, the goal is to be the best version of you not the better version of someone else.
