Visit the school with your child’s previous year’s report card. It is recommended that both the parent and child come together for the preliminary enquiry.
After the first interaction with the Admissions Team, you can fill out the enquiry form at our school and wait for our intimation in case a seat and subjects aimed for are available.
If a seat is available, an application form will be provided to you to fill and attached the following required list of documents:

Please note that all documents except for the transfer certificate are mandatory to submit along with the application form. Transfer Certificate can be submitted once the admission is granted.

We offer a progressive CBSE curriculum, enriched with interdisciplinary learning, life skills, and global perspectives.
To be eligible for admission to Nursery, the child must be at least 3 years old and below 4 years of age as of the specified cut-off date. This criterion is in accordance with the Directorate of Education (DoE) guidelines and is subject to change based on official notifications.
GD Goenka School, Vasant Kunj, follows the DOE rules for Nursery admissions. The Directorate of Education announces a timeline every year for the application process. Parents can apply through our website www.gdgps.gdgoenka.com by filling out the online forms during admission season.
A printed copy of the application along with the required documents must be submitted to the school (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM). The Draw of Lots and the list of selected candidates will be announced on the website as per the DOE schedule.
During the application process, the following documents are required along with the application form:
(a) Original and a copy of the birth certificate
(b) Proof of residential address (any one of the following):
(c) an affidavit regarding firstborn
(d) proof of sibling
(e) proof of alumni (class XII Certificate / Transfer Certificate of Parent)
(f) print out of Google Map showcasing the on-road distance between the school and house.
Yes, parents are encouraged to visit the school to enquire about seat availability through future transfers or subsequent admission rounds.

For KG to Class 9 admission, it is recommended that the parents come and meet with us to check the seat availability first. For Class 11, students need to appear for an entrance test for the stream selection followed by the interaction with the Principal.
We follow a strict 2 : 30 teacher-child ratio for Nursery & KG students. For Class 1 & 2, it's 1 : 30 and for Classes 3 - 12, it’s 1 : 34 teacher-child ratio.
