Thrive. For Life.
Building Stronger Concepts, Bolder Questions, and Brighter Learners
The Primary Wing at GD Goenka, Vasant Kunj, builds strong academic and life foundations through a future-focused, inquiry-led curriculum. Core competencies in English, Hindi, Math and EVS are built through inquiry projects, storytelling, games and collaboration. A robust Reading Programme strengthens literacy with guided reading, phonics and diverse texts. Arts, Theatre and Sports are integrated to spark creativity and confidence. Digital literacy, basic coding and Robotics introduce computational thinking early on. Communication, collaboration, emotional intelligence and digital readiness are embedded throughout, preparing each child to be an adaptable, empathetic and confident global citizen.
School Timings: 7.30 AM to 1.50 PM
The focus is on students to build core competencies across English, Hindi, Mathematics and Environmental Studies through active, inquiry-based learning. Our approach nurtures curiosity, sharpens critical thinking, and inspires each learner to reach their full potential.
English and Hindi lessons explore language through stories, poetry, grammar and expression. In Mathematics children deepen problem-solving and numerical fluency, while in Environmental Studies we connect classroom learning with the world beyond through hands-on exploration. Each lesson is designed to be engaging and meaningful, laying the groundwork for confident, independent thinkers.
In Grade 4, students build on core skills while exploring more complex concepts. They refine reading fluency, analyse texts and express ideas through narrative and informational writing. Vocabulary expands through contextual learning.
Math covers operations, decimals, fractions, geometry, and measurement. Science introduces ecosystems, forces and Earth’s features through hands-on inquiry. In Social Studies, learners explore History, Geography and Civic life to build global awareness.
Collaboration, research, and critical thinking are central, with students learning to evaluate information and present ideas. A mix of group work and independent learning ensures steady, personalised progress.
In Grade 5, students are challenged to think deeper, express more freely, and grow with purpose. Our programme combines academic rigour with creativity and personal development.
Learners build strong foundations in Language and Literacy, Mathematics, EVS and ABL French, while also engaging with ICT, STEM, and Robotics through dedicated labs. Their day is further enriched by experiences in the Library, Physical Education, Circle Time, Dance, Music, and Drama. Every lesson and activity is designed to inspire critical thinking, curiosity, and collaboration.
We believe every child carries unique potential. Through inclusive, activity-based learning and a nurturing environment, we help them grow as learners and as thoughtful, confident individuals ready to shape their world.
