Technology has clearly made us more connected to one another. However, it is our preoccupation, if not outright obsession with these devices, that is causing feelings of isolation, simply because we are prioritizing our online communities over face-to-face communication. On one hand technology eliminates boredom. And yet it encourages isolation.
Inter-House debate competition was organized for the students of classes 6-8, two participants from each House spoke for and against the motion- “Technology makes us better connected but less sensitive.” They put forth their well-thought and researched opinions on the topic, making the debate even more thought provoking and engaging.
