German students of class 5 celebrated language week and made face masks and birthday cards, depicting their understanding of their language.

A Cookery Show was organised by the Foreign Language Department for the students of class 10 as part of the Language Month Celebrations on 18 July 2020.

German and French students came up with delectable dishes like Pancakes and Hot and Sour soup. Vanya Kumar and Tishya Jain of class 10 E represented German language in the competition titled ‘Kochen Wettbewerb’. Shaurya Gupta of 9 D , too participated in the Cookery Competition and prepared a mouth watering cake ‘ Recette de gateau au marbre’.

Arnav Garg of 10 E brought glory to the school by representing GD Goenka Public School in an Inter School Cookery Competition organised by ‘Bonjour French’ and prepared a lip – smacking ‘Gateau au Chocolat’. Kudos to the children for their remarkable self-confidence!

Sparsh Jain and Anurag Kalra of 10 D and Arjun Taneja of 10 E showcased their singing skills by composing a rap song titled ‘Tu me Manques’ for a music competition organised by the Foreign Language Department on 24 July 2020.
During the language league of G.D Goenka public school a mask making competition was organised by the language department .During these difficult times an activity such as this can be the most enjoyable crafts that children can be engaged in.
