*Brightest of the Bright:*

Scholastic Excellence Awards Ceremony of G D Goenka Public School, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi opened online with much fanfare on December26, 2020. The ceremony commenced with a soulful nritya abhinay, an invocation to Lord Ganesh through a  Bharatnatyam performance, by Advaita Nair of Class 7E. Next, Ribhav Bhatia of 8D appealed for kindness through his powerful rendition of Michael Jackson’s “Heal the World”.   This was followed by a melodious duet piano recital by Devina Saxena of 9E and Aryan Taneja of 11B. The melodies like River flows in you, Pirates of the Caribbean and famous Turkish March mesmerized the audience. Yodhin Bali of 11B and Aariah Shah of 11C kept everyone entertained with their witty compering. 

97 students of classes VI, IX, XI and class XII batch of 2019-20 were felicitated for their outstanding achievements in academics. Principal, Ms Meenakshi Bhakuni, congratulated the parents and students. In her address she underlined the need of becoming a better version of oneself through efficient collaboration and service to society.

It was a day of immense pride for the parents and teachers alike.
