Sweet, fragrant and juicy mangoes:mango: add an abundance of flavour to beverages n meals. The junior Goenkans celebrated Mango Day in honour of the King of fruits! They learnt about the different varieties of Mangoes, various mango preparations and created their own scrumptious Mango Ice-cream!! The unique mango seed craft was made with much enthusiasm and joy by all.
The students were sensitized to the need of “Sharing and caring’.  The story of the ‘Giving tree’ was narrated, which lays emphasis on the importance of trees and the benevolent Mother Nature – who is ever ready and always so generous to share its resources with us. The little ones were encouraged to sow a mango seed in the ground to reiterate their gratitude to the Mother Earth.
