International Tiger Day

International Tiger Day has been created so that people around us support and raise awareness for tiger conservation. We celebrated the day at GD Goenka by inviting Dr. Latika Nath an author , a conservation ecologist and a wildlife photographer to visit the school and share her insights as ‘The Tiger Princess’ with the children. The Little Goenkans’ adorned in their tiger headgears had a wonderful time interacting with her and made a promise to do their bit for nature conservation.
