To honour the struggle of many brave hearts and to salute the martyrs for the sacrifices they made for giving us freedom, the l’l Goenkan soldiers had a special virtual assembly on the 73rd anniversary of our Independence Day. The proud l’l soldiers of ‘Bharat Mata’ spoke about our country’s glorious past, rich heritage and great culture. They recited a poem, ‘ mere sapno ka hindustan’ and presented themselves as freedom fighters/great leaders through a

fancy dress show. Their slogans filled everyone with a patriotic fervour. The assembly was addressed by our respected principal Mrs. Meenakshi Bhakuni. She encouraged the l’l ones with her motivational words.

The fervour of patriotism was at its peak as the Junior school students celebrated the Independence Day in their online classes .

They were all dressed in the colours of the Tiranga and the freedom fighters. They indulged in different art n ‘craft activities .

The lil’ ones exhibited their culinary skills by assembling the tricolour sandwiches and a tricolour fruit platter .

The students respectfully sang the national anthem to salute their ‘Bharat Mata ‘ and the online classroom echoed with the slogans of ‘Jai Hind’
