Harvard Graduate Women in Science & Engineering (HGWISE) at Harvard University presented a unique opportunity for school girls of grades VIII and IX to get mentored by eight Harvard scientists.

Disha Sanganeriya of 9-E, G.D. Goenka Public School, Vasant Kunj, was selected for this highly prestigious, a first-of-its-kind initiative, a Focus Group Workshop, conducted by scholars from HGWISE, in collaboration with Learn with Leaders, wherein she was connected with Harvard scientists engaged in cutting-edge research.

Adds Disha, “As a student, I feel that exposure to such workshops empowers students to make an informed career choice for their future. The mentors inspired girls to contemplate a career in STEM and become the next generation of scientists, inventors, and innovators.”
