The Digital India initiative by the Government of India has three key pillars – creation of digital infrastructure, delivering services digitally and digital literacy.We need to make citizens of India, especially students (kids and teens) capable of utilizing the power of Internet for learning; help them understand internet safety to protect themselves from its harmful effects, and grow into mature and ethical digital citizens. As trendsetters, the Goenkan Fraternity has decided to incorporate Digital Literacy and Cyber Security as a part of regular Life Skills training for Grades III – X. The first interaction started on April 13, 2016 during the House Meeting period for Grade VIII. Principal, Mr. Sanjay Yadav congratulated the Computer Department for the novel initiative.
