Under the aegis of the Director of Education, Delhi Govt, cultural activities were organised at zonal level from August6, 2018 till September4, 2018. The inherent talent and hard work of the teams of G. D. Goenka, Vasant Kunj placed them in the pole position as a result of which they won two competitions. Trained by Mr Madhumurari Chattopaddhyay and Mr Ratnendu Batabyal, the Goenkans of classes IX, X, XI and XII, including Anshul Aryan, Samyak Jain, Shaktik Banerjee, Japneet Singh, Tanmay Ghai, Janui Jolly, Aryan Maggo, Harshvardhan Talwar, Sparsh Goyal, Archit Gupta, Dev Kothari, Shivam Khosla, Parth Bhatnagar and Ehsas Gupta won Instrumental Music and Orchestra Competition held at Army Public School, Shankar Vihar. In addition Anshul Aryan won Classical Music Competition for his rendition of Sitar. Both the teams have been selected for Inter-Zonal Competitions.
