Goenkan students of the class XII batch of 2019 participated in the solemn Citation Ceremony that was conducted in the school auditorium on January 25, 2019. Graduation from school entails an emotional farewell where in the Citation Ceremony the students are given inspirational messages, school mementoes and blessings by their teachers.

Principal, Mr. Sanjay Yadav, motivated the children to listen to their heart and to follow their dreams. His speech encouraged the quest for excellence and perfection and his witty, gentle and all encompassing tone soothed many stressed and frayed nerves. His note of wisdom urged the students to rekindle hope and faith in their potential. Principal, Mr. Sanjay Yadav, Vice Principal, Mrs. Swadesh Kumar and Vice Principal Academics, Mr. Rajender Shah lit the school lamp and invoked the blessings of the Almighty. The children lit candles from the lamp led by Head Boy, Hardik Chetal and Head Girls, Zoya S Kumar and Anaika Mehra. The distribution of school mementoes made the Citation Ceremony a very significant event in the senior student’s school life. A short film made on the school campus showing the different facets of Goenkan life aptly displayed friendship, nostalgia and the journey in the school. The film was put together by the students of class XI as a tribute to their seniors. The ceremony left many teary-eyed.
