“Books are a man’s best friend” a famous quote which our little goenkans truly believe in and religiously incorporate in their daily lives. 

Primary school goenkans very enthusiastically participated in the reading week and did various activities related to the same during their classes, like dressing up like their favourite character and enacting them or talking about them as to why it is their favourite character, and even about the morals they’ve learnt from the various books they read.

Some made slides on their favourite book too. We also had a guest speaker who spoke about her love for books.
