Diversities in all spheres make the Indian culture quite unique. It has been a land of varied art forms and traditions. It has been beautifully said that India has had a long romance with the art of dance. Keeping in tune with our rich heritage the young Goenkans of classes 7th and 8th were trained by Ms Vijaya Nirwan to take part in the Zonal competition of Indian folk dances held on 1st September 2018 in SKV Vidyalaya, Janakpuri. 13 schools had participated in the competition and our students performed the unique traditional folk dance Kaliri of Kerela. The stunning dance steps and vibrant costumes mesmerized the audience. Our young talented dancers bagged the second position and made all of us proud yet again.
