U.S. Education Fair was organised by G. D. Goenka Public School, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, in collaboration with EdWisery College Consultants, on February 4, 2020 to expose the senior school students to a variety of course options available in fourteen renowned universities of the U.S. The students had a direct interaction with the university representatives through which they gained first hand information on available courses, entry requirements and scholarships.
The universities that participated were: Ohio University, DePaul University, Foothill + De Anza Colleges, Full Sail University, Marymount California University, Savannah College of Art and Design, Suny Buffalo State, The University of Iowa, University of Oklahoma, University of San Francisco, University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and The University of Arizona.
Parents of many students of class XI expressed keen interest in gaining knowledge about the courses and their queries were adequately addressed. This fair was held by the school with an attempt to enable the students to identify their potential and realise their dreams. The children were equipped with requisite knowledge and felt empowered at the end of the fair.
