TOI Green Drive campaign, an initiative by TIMES NIE, directly addresses the rampant air pollution and deforestation, by planting the single most critical element for survival on Earth, a Tree.
As a part of the campaign TOI conducted a tree plantation activity in Aravali Biodiversity Park, Poorvi Marg on 3rd October. Twenty Eight students of GD.Goenka, Vasant Kunj from class 6 ,7 and 8 experienced this event and learnt about the importance of trees in our lives. The event was graced by the presence of Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister Housing and Urban Affairs, India.
