“Somewhere, someone is waiting for our help.”

On 3 January 2022, the winter camp of Teens for Sewa started with the participation of 25 Goenkans of Classes IX and XI. A training workshop was held on 8 January through a Google meet by the Sewa Bharti team for the Goenkan volunteers. As a part of the camp, the Goenkans conducted many activities with their buddies such as reading Panchatantra tales, newspapers, teaching English and Mathematics online, teaching Science to class 10 students amongst the buddies and discussing current affairs. On the occasion of Republic Day, a few volunteers engaged in various activities with their buddies such as presenting related videos, making paintings of the Indian Flag, writing essays on Subhash Chandra Bose, discussing related topics like the Constitution, importance of Republic Day and the parade and writing the national anthem. It was a very enriching experience for the volunteers as well as their buddies.
