On 16 December  2020 , students of class IX conducted a special assembly on the topic: *Hidden Wonders Behind the World of Mathematics*.

The assembly started with the morning prayer by Vyom Kapoor, followed by an  enlightening thought by Nirek. The three comperes Adyant, Apeksha and Arihant guided the viewers through the assembly  which began with an in- depth analysis of the life of the greatest mathematician of all times, Srinivasa Ramanujan . It was followed  by Devina and Anshika talking  about the  origin, importance and history of mathematics.

The viewers had a glimpse of the ”Magic of Mathematics’ as the students talked about the presence of Math in our everyday life and its practical utility.

The assembly ended on à lighter note with Pavani, Mannat and Ridhima presenting a few Mathematical tricks which were thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated by all present.

The  Principal  acknowledged the efforts put in by the  students and encouraged them by giving a few tips for taking up the subject  more as an activity, as we deal with Math in our day to day lives, in  some way or other.. Overall, it was an  illuminating and a  fun – filled assembly.
