To foster the habit of reading and creating readers our school has  participated in ‘One Nation reading together’  program organized by Scholastic India on 24^th November Friday, where the students from different schools of our country took pledge to read books regularly.

At 12 noon the bell  rang to mark the beginning of the reading session and for the next 20 minutes there was complete silence. Every member of the school including teachers and students read books or newspapers.

The motive behind the activity was to encourage children to read every day.
