‘Music in Math’, an event showcasing the special relationship between Math and Music was organised by the students of class IX on 21 December 2020. The students educated us on the close relationship between Math and music, which dates back to thousands of years, though live demonstrations.

 Keshav Kapooor of IX C showed us how ‘rhythm measures time’ using mathematics followed by Snehendu Batabyal of IX A demonstrating, through a keyboard, how maths and music are interrelated.

The audience was in raptures enjoying  the ‘live orchestra’ presented by the students of class IX, exhibiting how the beads of music are tied in a thread of Mathematics.

It was truly an enthralling and educative presentation where it was elucidated that music and mathematics work hand – in- hand!
