Students were divided in two groups. Each group was given three sets of flash cards – the first set had images of household items (like bed, sofa, television), the second set had names of these items written in German while third set had different types of rooms in a house (drawing room, bedroom) – written in German as well. The group had to first identify images of the items and then suggest in which room are those items generally placed. It was an easy exercise that helped students remember the German names of their household items.
