German students of our school – Saranya Rawat (Class 6) and Aanya Malik (Class 8) were shortlisted by Goethe Institute in a two-day virtual camp (from 4th to 6th June 2021) on the theme – Kinderuni. The camp offered workshops on very interesting topics like- Fun, Games and Math, Hands-On-Science, Tinkering Fun with Nature, how do wounds heal and My Little World Tour. 

Saranya and Aanya expressed their excitement on learning new concepts in Science and Math using German as the learning medium. They made different paper toys and learnt the science behind it. Math sessions offered numerous brain teasers, puzzles, and games. They explored interactive and latest features of Google Maps, visited different countries, watched interesting videos on their geographical condition and learnt about their recent natural disasters. It was indeed a different and unique experience, they never imagined that one day German would help them learn new concepts in Math and Science.
