The school celebrated Earth Day today-22nd April 2016. It marks the anniversary of the birth of the modern environmental movement in 1970.
A small skit was presented by the members of the middle school Nature Club. Various issues like noise, air and water pollution were beautifully conveyed through the skit where the Earth was personified as a sick person.
All the members of the G D Goenka School pledged to use cloth bags, plant trees, save water and electricity, to reuse and recycle and to try their level best to make OUR DEAR MOTHER EARTH BEAUTIFUL.
