The journey of G. D. Goenka Public School, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, since its inception, has been an exceptional one, reflecting a trend of positive growth in every stream of activity, sports and education.

Established in October 1994, in the fond memory of Late Smt. Gayatri Devi Goenka, mother of Founder Chairman, Shri Anjani Kumar Goenka, the school has completed 25 years of glory and honour. This milestone was marked by an in-house celebration on December7, 2019, organised by Vice Principal, Mr. Rajender Shah and Head of Activities and Sports, Ms. Anisha Talwar.The occasion was graced by Vice Chairperson, Ms. Renu Goenka. Mr. Madhumurari, on sitar, accompanied by Mr. Ratenendu on tabla presented a tribute to the Goenkan ethos. The IT department summed up the glorious journey of 25 years through a commemorative film. A few of the longest serving teachers went down the memory lane recalling their momentous journey nostalgically. Principal, Ms. Meenakshi Bhakuni exhorted the staff members to keep up their effort towards enriching the learning process of students. The motto of the school – ‘Higher, Stronger, Brighter’ was symbolized by releasing of colourful balloons.
