On Friday, October 25, 2016, on the morning of Dhanteras, a special assembly was held in the school to initiate the mood of the festival of lights. After the morning prayer, Ms Bindu Kaul spoke to the children about different messages that the festival of Diwali delivers. A melodious rendition by children left the audience mesmerised. A dance performance by the children of classes 3, 4 and 5 held the audience spellbound. A skit was presented by Nature Club exhorting everyone to celebrate an eco-friendly Diwali. As the assembly ended the excited voices wishing happy Diwali to one another could be heard all around.
